Abstract: The microhardness, high temperature wear resistance and dilution rate of the alloy coating on the surface of 45 steel were studied by using CoFeCrNiSiB alloy powder as cladding powder. The effects of current, pulse width and frequency on the microhardness, high temperature wear resistance and dilution of the coating were investigated by orthogonal test range analysis. The results show that the effect of laser cladding parameters on the microhardness of the alloy coating from large to small was output current & pulse width & pulse frequency in turn, the influence degree of high temperature wear resistance from big to small was pulse frequency & output current & pulse width in turn, the influence degree of high temperature wear resistance from big to small was output current & pulse frequency & pulse width in turn. The optimized process parameter was current 380 A, frequency 4 Hz, pulse width 8 ms and laser power 467 W.
