Abstract: Good lubrication is the key to ensure the life and reliability of space moving parts. At present, space motion mechanisms use a single solid lubrication or grease lubrication which has its own defects. In this paper, aiming to improve the life and reliability of space lubrication, effects of deposition process parameters on the friction and wear properties and behavior of diamond-like carbon (DLC) films under PFPE grease lubrication conditions were investigated. Based on the above research, the optimal deposition process of the DLC film was determined. The friction and wear test of solid-liquid composite lubrication system was carried out. Result showed that the friction coefficient was less than 0.15, the friction life was more than 2.1×106 r at atmospheric environment; and the friction coefficient was less than 0.1, the friction life was more than 2.11×106 r at vacuum environment.
