Abstract: Because of early drying shrinkage and freeze-thaw damage, harmful cracks of concrete will occur, which will affect the strength and durability of reinforced concrete. Epoxy resin is dripped onto the fibers, fibers will become bead chains after the resin is coagulated into beads, and then it becomes short cut fiber through fiber cutting machine. Finally, Fiber bead chain concrete is made by adding fibre bead chain into concrete in mixing process. Through the finite element simulation, it is found that the fiber bead chain concrete relies on the structural embedment between beads and concrete to alleviate the stress concentration. The shear stress between fiber and concrete is basically reduced to 0 MPa, the fiber slip is restricted. Material performance experiments show that when the content of fiber bead chain is 0.5 kg/m3 and the content of reinforced fiber is 3 kg/m3, the concrete mechanical properties and durability are improved, the number of cracks is reduced by 93%, and the length of cracks is shortened by 57%. Therefore fiber bead chain has feasibility and practicability in concrete anti-cracking design.
