Research Status of Preparation of Activated Alumina Powder by Liquid PhaseMethod

Abstract: Activated alumina is a porous material with good thermal stability, moderate surface area, adjustable pore volume and pore size, good adsorption performance and surface acidity. It is widely used as a catalyst carrier. The liquid phase method is currently the most widely used method for synthesizing activated alumina powder in laboratory research and industrial application. The powder prepared by the method has the advantages of narrow particle size distribution and regular morphology. In this paper, the main liquid phase methods such as aluminum alkoxide hydrolysis and neutralization are reviewed.
