Research Progress of Biodegradable Polysaccharides Aerogels

Abstract: Biodegradable polysaccharide aerogel is a material with a three-dimensional nano-network structure,which is prepared by a sol-gel method combined with supercritical drying technology or freeze-drying technology. Because biodegradable polysaccharides have many unique physical, chemical and biological properties combined with the high specific surface area and high porosity of aerogel materials, they are widely used in wastewater treatment, textile paper, food packaging and biomedicine. This paper mainly introduces the preparation, properties and applications in different fields of cellulose, chitosan, sodium alginate and konjac.
