Abstract: In order to explore new adsorbent materials, graphene oxide was prepared by modified Hummers oxidation method. Furthermore, graphene oxide was reduced by using glucose as the reducing agent and the cross-linking agent to connect graphene nanosheets, and SiO2 nano-powder was added to construct graphene-nano-SiO2 aerogels with the three-dimensional porous structure. The surface morphology and microstructure of graphene-nano-SiO2 aerogels were observed and characterized by scanning electron microscopy and fully automatic surface analyzer. The adsorption characteristics of graphene-nano-SiO2 aerogels on the volatile organic compound crotonaldehyde were studied. The results show that the three-dimensional porous structure of graphene-nano-SiO2 aerogel provides a larger specific surface. The optimum addition amount of SiO2 nano-powder in composite aerogel is 58.8%, and its adsorption value for crotonaldehyde was 127.1 mg/g.
