Abstract: TiO2 nanotubes were prepared by anodic oxidation method, and smaller nano-sized carbon was doped on the surface of nanotubes by hydrothermal method. The composite nanomaterials were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy at the scale of 5 nm, revealing the composite interface mechanism of anatase-doped carbon. The carbon-doped TiO2 nanocomposite has higher absorption capacity for visible light by infrared absorption spectroscopy.
