Abstract: PERC solar cell is one of the important issues in solar cells, which has local aluminum back surface field electrodes by adding the back surface passivation layer and laser opening in conventional solar cells, thus its efficiency increased about 1%. PERC cell's performance is directly affected by aluminum electrode paste, so the work studied the effects of the thermal properties of V-B-Si, Pb-B-Si and Bi-B-Zn glass frits on the performance and appearance of PERC cells. Then the results show that the PERC cells prepared by V-B-Si glass paste has better performance than Pb-B-Si and Bi-B-Zn glass. When the weight percentage of V-B-Si (V2O5,B2O3,SiO2) is 25∶10∶15, the filling rate of the aluminum film at the laser opening is higher, the EL image is brighter and the cell efficiency is higher and the aluminum back surface field appearance perfor-mance (adhesion and boiling water cooking performance) is better. In addition the microstructure of the local aluminum electrode of the PERC cell was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), the high-efficiency solar cell was prepared by using the aluminum paste with glass frits of appropriate thermal characteristics.
