Abstract: In this paper, polycarbonate-polyolefin(PC/POE) elastomer blend rigid foaming materials with multi-hole open-cell structure were successfully prepared via supercritical carbon dioxide intermittent foaming method. The morphology of PC/POE blends was observed by scanning electron microscopy. It was found that the POE particles were evenly distributed in the PC matrix in the form of spherical particles, showing a typical “island-sea” structure. The size of spherical particles increased with the increase of POE content. Moreover, the effects of POE content, CO2 saturation pressure and saturation temperature on the cell morphology and porosity of PC/POE foams were systematically studied. The results show that the open-cell pore structure is obvious when POE content is nearly 20wt%, saturation pressure is above 15 MPa, the temperature reaches 150 ℃, especially when the pressure rises to 18 MPa, the nucleation point is the largest and the pore opening rate is the largest.
