Abstract: PTFE composite filled with chopped glass fiber and TiO2 was prepared by hot-pressing method. The effects of chopped glass fiber content on the microstructure, dielectric properties, thermal conductivity and line expansion were investigated. The result reveal that the densities and dielectric constant of composite materials decrease with an increase of chopped glass fiber content, while the thermal conductivity and dielectric loss increase with the increase of chopped glass fiber content. The water absorption and line expansion decrease first, to reach the minimum values, then increase with the increase of chopped glass fiber content. When the mass fraction of chopped glass fiber reaches 2%,the composites exhibitted excellent comprehensive performance, dielectric constant (6.06),low dielectric loss(0.0013)and low water absorption(0.038%).
