Abstract: The shale brick raw material was prepared with 30% of the coal gangue powder added into coal gangue sintered shale brick, according to the GB/T 2542-2012 “test method of wall brick”, the durability of the cream and lime burst test was carried out. Through comparing the test results with the request of GB 5101-2003 “sintered common brick”, results showed that the pan frost of coal gangue sintered shale brick was slight pan frost, and lime burst was also in the allowed range, the frost and the lime burst of this kind of new wall materials were accord with national standard requirement, laying a theoretical foundation for the popularization of this new type of wall material.
