Abstract: In order to provide a scientific basis for the use of recycled brick aggregates in the construction of aquifers in sponge cities, to further promote the development of construction waste resources. In this paper, the effects of various factors on the water storage capacity and water permeability of aggregate aquifers were investigated by changing the particle size of the single-grained fine aggregate aquifer and the amount of recycled aggregate. The results show that when the aggregate particle size decreases, the water storage capacity of the aquifer decreases due to the decrease of the water storage capacity of the aggregate; when the amount of recycled aggregate increases, the water storage capacity of the aquifer is due to the aggregate itself. The water absorption capacity increases with the increase of water absorption capacity. In this process, the water permeability of the aquifer is in the opposite law, so it is necessary to apply the aquifer in the sponge city facility that needs comprehensive consi-deration of the permeability and water storage capacity. The particle size and the amount of recycled aggregate are adjusted.
