Abstract: In this paper, the wear resistance of gypsum-based gravity mortar surface was explored from raw materials and surface modification materials. The effects of redispersible latex powder, gypsum retarder, ordinary Portland cement and curing agent on the wear resistance of gypsum-based self-leveling mortar were studied. The fluidity and compressive strength of mortar and the gel-based material were analyzed. The effect of self-leveling mortar wear resistance. The results show that the redispersible latex powder has an improved effect on the wear resistance of gypsum-based self-leveling mortar. The gypsum retarder increases the degree of segregation and sedimentation of the mortar, resulting in a decrease in the wear resistance of the gypsum-based self-leveling mortar. In the gypsum-based self-leveling mortar, the appropriate amount of gypsum and ordinary Portland cement added has the effect of improving the wear resistance of the gypsum-based self-leveling mortar; however, reducing the amount of gypsum or ordinary Portland cement material. It is beneficial to improve the wear resistance of gypsum-based self-leveling mortar. Applying a permeable curing agent on the surface of the self-leveling mortar can improve the compactness and wear resistance of the surface layer. Apparently, the color is different, which is mainly reflected in the influence of the quality of the curing agent on the color difference of the gypsum-based gravity mortar.
