Influence of Hydrophilic Polyester Fiber on the Preparation and Performance of Lining Paper

Abstract: In order to prepare liner paper with high wet strength and high air permeability, the self-made hydrophilic polyester chopped fibers and plant fibers were introduced into the paper,the influence of pulp beating degree, fiber ratio, conductivity of papermaking water, pH adjuster and other additives on paper properties was discussed,the optimal parameters under the test conditions were determined, and the physical properties, antibacterial and mildew proof properties of liner paper were determined. The results showed that under the test conditions, the mass ratio of hardwood pulp to hydrophilic polyester staple fiber was 8∶2, and water conductivity was 21 μS/cm;the mass fractions of boric acid, wet strength agent and antibacterial agent relative to absolute dry pulp were 1.5%, 0.6% and 0.3%,respectively, and the obtained liner paper had a wet strength of 0.72 kN·m-1, an air permeability of 30.99 μm·(Pa·s)-1, and is resistant to Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia Coli. The bacteriostatic rates of bacilli reached 100% and 95.84% respectively, as the antifungal performance was good under the conditions of high temperature and high relative humidity. The addition of hydrophilic polyester fibers can significantly improve the performance of liner paper, and provide new ideas for the preparation of liner paper.
作者简介: 庄思杰,2018年6月毕业于东北电力大学,获得工程学士学位,2018年9月至今攻读江南大学纺织科学与工程学院制浆造纸工程专业硕士学位,主要研究方向为特种纸与功能纸。 龙柱,教授,2001年于天津轻工业学院(现天津科技大学)制浆造纸工程专业毕业,获工学博士学位;2000年芬兰University of Tampere Polytechnic访问学者,2003年天津大学博士后,2011年加拿大University of New Brunswick访问教授。现任江南大学纺织科学与工程学院造纸研究室教授、博士研究生导师,江南大学制浆造纸工程学科责任教授,中国造纸学会理事。发表学术论文300多篇,其中被SCI检索收录30余篇。获得国家发明专利授权30余项。获得国家科技进步二等奖1项。主要从事特种纸与功能纸、高性能纤维纸基材料、生物基化学品和材料等领域研究。
