Magnetic Performance of Grain-oriented Silicon Steel Under Complex Working Condition and Material Selection for Transformer Core

Abstract: Based on the soft magnetic measurement system which can precisely control the DC bias and excitation signal waveform, the magnetic performance and magnetostrictive properties of 0.20 mm, 0.23 mm, 0.27 mm and 0.30 mm series grain-oriented silicon steels were studied under AC/DC hybrid excitation. The selection principles of core materials for 3 different types of transformers (AC transformer affected by neutral current in HVDC ground-return system, converter transformer with DC bias and harmonics condition, and lager AC transformer with harmonic condition) were researched in this work. For the samples with the same core loss under normal condition, the thick silicon steel with low magnetic induction shows lower power loss and excitation current under DC bias condition, while the thin silicon steel presents lower core loss under harmo-nic condition. Besides, the mechanisms were analyzed. The selection proposals of silicon steels with different core loss, thickness, magnetic induction and tensile stress for the above 3 types of power transformers were put forward respectively.
作者简介: 程灵,全球能源互联网研究院高级工程师,钢铁研究总院在职博士研究生。2006年9月至2013年1月,在北京科技大学材料科学与工程学院获得学士学位和硕士学位。以第一作者在Scripta Materialia、Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials(同时担任审稿人)、《中国电力》等国内外学术期刊上发表论文10余篇;申请国家发明专利12项,其中授权专利6项;获中国腐蚀与防护协会科技进步一等奖1项,全球能源互联网研究院科技进步二等奖1项。作为课题执行负责人,开展多项国家电网公司科技项目及基础前瞻性项目研究,主要涉及电工磁性材料在输变电设备中的应用技术研究。
