Abstract Layer-by-layer self-assembly (LBL) is a method of layer by layer alternating deposition. According to the weak interactions between the layer of molecules, the layers spontaneously joined together to form a molecular aggregate or supramolecular structure which has a complete structure and stable performance. Tissue engineering is called "regenerative medicine", which refers to the technology of reconstructing or repairing organs and tissues by means of bioactive substances and in vitro culture or construction. It mainly includes four aspects: new biomaterials, cell sources, signal factors and biological manufacturing methods. The aim is to manufacture functional tissues for use in regenerative medicine and drug testing. In this paper, the research progress of layer-by-layer self-assembly in tissue engineering is reviewed.

About author:: Yuqing Guo, a second-year graduate student in oral clinical medicine from Anhui Medical University, gra-duated from Weinan Medical College in Anhui Province. In June 2019, she published an article in the Chinese core journal as the first author. The research focuses on the regeneration of bone tissue and follows the postgra-duate tutor’s clinical skills in dental endodontics. Song Li, Ph.D., professor. In 1994, she obtained a master’s degree from Hubei Medical University. In 2004, she obtained a doctoral degree in stomatology from West China University of Medical Sciences. In 2009, she was promoted to professor title and served as a master’s tutor. Since 1994, she has been engaged in teaching, research and clinical work in the Department of Stomatology, Anhui Medical University. Main research fields: detection of Streptococcus mutans in children and its relationship with mother; propagation and influencing factors of Streptococcus mutans in children; clinical significance of variable chain production; purification of Sequencing, gene cloning; clinical study of dental pulp disease. |
