NBR/PVC橡塑合金辐射防护材料的制备及性能研究

Abstract To satisfy the requirements for radiation protection and the development of structure-function integration of flexible shielding materials,a new type NBR/PVC blend shielding composite was prepared. The results of tensile tests and neutron and gamma-ray shielding experiments of the composite show that the composite has high tensile strength and elongation at break,and the neutron and gamma-ray shielding performance of the composite retains a high level. With the increase of functional filler content,the neutron and gamma-ray shielding performance increases,but the tensile strength and elongation at break decrease at the same time. The irradiation test shows that mechanical properties of electron beam cured specimen are better than that of sulfur cured specimen. Ta-king into account the excellent neutron and gamma-ray shielding performance,tensile property and flexibility of the composite,it has far reaching application potential in nuclear equipment in complex shapes and radiation shielding clothing.
