Na<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub>助熔剂与基于石棉尾矿微晶陶瓷晶相转变和理化性能的关联规律探索

Abstract Microcrystalline ceramic with forsterite as the main crystal phase was produced through one-time method using asbestos tailings as the main raw material and Na₂CO₃ as the fluxing agent. The influence of sintering temperature and contents of Na₂CO₃ on the crystalline phases, mechanical properites and microstructure were invested using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microsopy to determine these preparing microcrystalline ceramics. The results obtained show that Na₂CO₃ content is 0%,the increase of sintering temperature would only lead to the disappearance of hematite. Hematite and enstatite had disappeared when Na₂CO₃ content is 4%, hematite and enstatite converted into magnesioferrite and forsterite gradually during the sintering process. The microcrystalline ceramic achieved optimum mechanical proerites at the sintering temperature of 1 150 ℃ and 4% Na₂CO₃ content with the bulk density being 2.85 g/cm³, the liner shrinkage being 11.4% and the flexural strength being 65.4 MPa. Na₂CO₃ plays an important role in the crystal phase transformation and mechanical properties improvement of microcrystalline ceramics prepared by asbestos tailings.

About author:: Guo Zhoureceived his bachelor's degree in Sichuan Agricultural University. He is currently pursuing his master's degree at Southwest University of Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Hongjuan Sun and Prof. Tongjiang Peng. His research has focused on comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste.
Hongjuan Sunobtained her Ph.D. degree from Sichuan University. She is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor in Southwest University of Science and Technology. She is a member of the China Mineral Composites Professional Committee, member of the Minerals Committee of the Chinese Geological Society, and deputy director of the Sichuan Nano Society. Her current research focuses on preparation and application of nano-mineral materials, preparation and application of graphene materials and treatment of solid waste resources. She has written and coauthored more than 150 journal and conference papers domestically and internationally, and patented several novel technologies in the fields mentioned above. Besides, she has written and published a book. As a chief investigator, she had completed and are conducting tens of projects, including grants from the National Natural Scientific Foundation of China and the provincial and ministerial projects.
