| Research on Electromagnetic Loss Model and Property of Ferrite-containing Ceramsite Aggregate |

Abstract Electromagnetic loss models of two types of ceramsite aggregate, coated type and mixd type,were built based on Mie theory. Then multiple factor analysis of effects of electromagnetic loss property, including the absorbent content, aggregate particle size and incident wave frequency were carried out. The results show that the two types of functional ceramsite aggregate show better electromagnetic loss property, under 20% amount of absorbent, 5—7 mm particle radius and 8—18 GHz frequency band, and the mixed type aggregate has better electromagnetic loss property and wider high loss frequency band by considering the factors of absorbent content, aggregate particle size and frequency.
