Abstract Brazing coating technology is widely used in aerospace, agricultural machinery, oil drilling, mining and other fields due to its advantages of high metallurgical bonding strength, good adaptability to complex components, large thickness range of prepared coatings, and high surface precision of coatings. It is a rapid development of surface coating preparation technology in recent years. This article firstly introduces the technical principles of brazing coating, and then it reviews in detail the brazing materials used in brazing, the preset methods of brazing materials and the welding methods of brazing coating, and then the application of brazing coating technology in various fields is reviewed. Finally, it pointed out the existing problems of brazing coating technology at this stage, and looked forward to the future development direction of brazing coating technology.
