| Analysis of the Influence of High Saline Soil on the Corrosion of Concrete Pole |

Abstract By sampling representative soils in the Bayannur area, and using SEM, XRD, EDS and ion chromatography to determine the corrosion factors of the soil in the area, the reasons for the failure of concrete poles were analyzed according to the results. The results show that the soil in this area has extremely high water content and high concentrations of chloride ions and sulfate ions. The above factors are the main reasons for the corrosion of electric poles. Suggestions are provided for improving the corrosion resistance of concrete poles.
