Recruitment of the Fourth Youth Editorial Board Members–Materials Reports

To strengthen the global impact of Materials Reports and harness the fresh perspectives of early-career researchers, we invite applications for our Fourth Young Editorial Board.

About the Journal

Founded in 1987, Materials Reports is a leading Chinese journal indexed in EI, Scopus, and CSCD. It is supported by an eminent editorial team led by Editor-in-Chief Professor Zhou Ji (Academician, Chinese Academy of Engineering). The journal is published by Chongqing Southwest Information Co., Ltd. and has expanded into two English-language titles: Materials Reports: Energy and Materials Reports: Solidwaste and Ecomaterials.

Eligibility

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

l Hold a Ph.D. and a senior academic rank (Associate Professor or equivalent).

l Be under 40 years old.

l Be actively engaged in research within materials science or related fields.

l Demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing the journal.

Responsibilities

Young Editorial Board Members are expected to:

l Submit at least one paper as (co-)first or corresponding author during their term.

l Promote the journal by citing its articles in their own publications.

l Nominate qualified peers as potential reviewers.

l Participate in and help organize journal-related academic events.

l Advocate for Materials Reports at conferences and on professional networks.

l Priority consideration for committee roles in journal-affiliated conferences.
