The structure, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of the copolymer were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, GPC respectively. The thermodynamic properties and the hydrophilicity of the copolymer were studied by TGA and contact angle measurement. Our results indicated an evidently higher thermal stability and a different hydrophilicity of the cyclic copolymer compared with linear-PCL-b-PVP.
