Research Progress on Resource Disposal of Stainless Steel Slag |

Abstract In recent years, the output of stainless steel crude steel in China is in the forefront of the world, and the stainless steel slag produced in the smelting process is increasing gradually. So, the problems of resource waste and environment pollution is increasingly prominent. This paper introduces the stainless steel slag recources distribution, sources, physicochemical property, environment pollution characteristics, treatment process and harmless disposal. At the same time, the stainless steel slag in recycling valuable metals, cement, concrete, ceramic glass, brick, ceramics, agriculture and so on, are summarized. Finally, standard and intellectual property of stainless steel slag are analyzed.

About author:: Chunli Wu, Engineer, received her master's degree in material science engineering from University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) in Sep. 2013—Jan. 2016. Up to now, she has been working in Guangdong Institute of Building Materials Company. She has published more than 18 journal papers, applied 5 national invention patents and 3 of them were authorized. Her research interests focus on the solid waste resource utilization and new building materials. She has participated in a number of provincial, muncipal and ministerial lever key scientific and technological research, social development projects, etc., completed a number of vertical and horizontal scientific research and technical service projects.Zhe Chen, director of Research and Development Department of Guangdong Institute of Building Materials company, Senior Engineer. Graduated from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology in 2012. He works at Guangdong Institute of Building Materials Company from 2012 to now, his mainly work is responsibility for the comprehensive utilization of solid waste resources, he has presided over and participated in more than 10 scientific research projects, applied for 19 national invention patents, of which 11 were authorized, mainly involving smelting waste, mine tailings, construction waste and other fields. |
