Microstructure and Phase Transformation After Hydrogen Absorption of TiZr3V6 Alloy |

Abstract TiZr3V6 alloy was prepared by plasma arc melting technique. The microstructure and phase composition of TiZr3V6 alloy were studied by scanning electron microscope, energy spectrum analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis. The results show that TiZr3V6 alloy was composed of dendritic V based solid solution phase, ZrV2 phase and α-Zr phase. After hydrogen absorption saturation, the alloy was composed of V16Zr8H36.29 phase, VH2.01 phase and ZrH1.801 phase, and powdered into particles that existed a large number of micro-cracks.
