Abstract To characterize the deformation of 3D-printed materials after secondary curing based on free radical polymerization, aliphatic polyurethane acrylate was used as the main component, mixed with monomer and photoinitiator to prepare 3D printed and light-cured resin material. The model was printed by a 3D printer, the corresponding data were scanned by an intraoral scanner at different time points,which was compared with the data of model just cured twice to get the data for characterizing the deformation. After 1 d, 2 d, 3 d, the data of UV curing material model by secondary cured could not completely coincide with the data of the model just cured and the existence of deformation is proved, and with the increase of UV light intensity, the deformation decreases obviously. This study provides a method to characterize the deformation after secondary curing of UV cured products, it has guiding significance for the development of photosensitive resins with fast curing process, excellent properties and small deformation in different fields.
