About author:: Cao Yijian, Ph.D., is currently employed by the Italian National Research Council (CNR IgG). In 2012, he graduated from Northwest University, majoring in cultural relics protection technology, and went to Italy to study for a master's degree in the same year. In March 2015, he graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy, with a full score of 110 Cum Laude. During the period of postgraduate study, he won the scholarship for excellent Chinese students from China College of University of Bologna (No.1) and the scholarship for excellent foreign students from University of Bologna (No.1). In November 2015, he was admitted to the Department of chemistry of the University of Florence to study for a doctor's degree in cultural heritage protection science, and graduated in March 2019. At present, it has published 5 papers included in SCI and applied for 1 Chinese invention patent. The research direction is mainly to develop and test new bionic materials for the surface sealing, reinforcement and anti-corrosion treatment of cultural relics; Wang Liqin, professor and doctor of Northwest University, doctoral supervisor, director of China Cultural Relics Protection Technology Association, and vice chairman of cultural relics protection education professional committee of China Cultural Relics Protection Technology Association. In 1982, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in analytical chemistry from Northwest University, and has been teaching since graduation. In 1988, he received a master's degree in analytical chemistry from Northwestern University, and in 2006, he received a doctor's degree in materials engineering from Northwestern University of technology. He has been engaged in the research and teaching of cultural relics protection, materials science and chemistry for more than 30 years. He is one of the founders of the first undergraduate major of cultural relics protection in China, and has trained more than 40 masters and doctors in cultural relics protection. The main research directions of his team include: Research on materials for reinforcement and protection of cultural relics, research on materials for waterproofing and protection of cultural relics, and analysis and Research on painted cultural relics. It has undertaken more than 20 projects supported by NSFC and the Ministry of science and technology. He has published more than 100 papers in academic journals at home and abroad, 23 of which are included in SCI and won 3 provincial and ministerial second prizes. |
