Impact of Clarification of Stannic Oxide on TFT-LCD Substrate Glass |

Abstract TFT-LCD substrate glass is the two key glass materials of thin film transistor liquid crystal display panel. The substrate glass is an important part of the panel. The continuous improvement of the performance of the substrate glass mainly depends on the iterative optimization of glass formulation and the coordinated improvement of glass production process. This is the advantage of core technology by continuous innovation and development of global substrate glass manufacturing enterprises. In this paper, the clarifying effects were investigated by stannic oxide agent and content. Area refraction, mean bubble size and number of bubbles were analyzed quantitatively by high temperature observation in the clarification process. An adequate mode of clarification was set up for TFT-LCD substrate glass,which can provide some guidance suggestions for glass production enterprises.

About author:: Shou Peng received his master degrees from Wuhan University of Technology in 2001. He is currently Professor-level senior engineer and doctoral supervisor enjoying the special allowance from the State Council, director of Bengbu Design & Research Institute for Glass Industry. He gained 3 second prizes of National Sic-Tech Advance Award, 8 first prizes of provincial and ministerial-level Sic-Tech Advance Award and 1 Natio-nal Excellent Engineering Design Gold Award. He presided 17 973/863 national science and technology support programs and national key projects and obtained 65 state-authorized invention patents, compiled 5 technical monographs, and published more than 105 papers.Fengyang Zhao received his master degree in June 2015 from East China Normal University in materials. He is currently an engineer in State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for float glass technology, Bengbu Design & Research Institute for Glass Industry Co.Ltd. His research has focused on New technology of special function glass. |
