Abstract The road base layer and subbase layer have lower requirements for their strength when using inorganic binder stabilized aggregate. The use of recycled construction waste aggregates forinorganic binder stabilized aggregate is an effective way to recycle construction waste. In this paper, the effects of the composition of cementitious materials and recycled aggregates on the mechanical properties and frost resistance of inorganic binder stabilized aggregate were studied. The results show that the increase of cement content and the content of concrete particles in the recycled aggregate can increase the strength of the inorganic binder stabilized aggregate. Under the premise of the same total amount of gelling material, reducing the amount of lime can increase the strength of the inorganic binder stabilized aggregate. The rebound modulus value of the material is 2 775—3 375 MPa, and the maximum residual compressive strength ratio after freezing can reach 88.4%.
