Study of Environmental Impact of Power Battery in Recycling Stage Based on LCA Assessment Model |

Abstract In order to reduce the energy consumption and environmental emissions in life cycle of power batteries and improve the environmental protection performance of power batteries and electric vehicles, the LCA assessment model was established with the evaluation period of recovery stage based on in-depth study and understanding of life cycle assessment (LCA) theory and method. The research objects are lithium iron phosphate battery and nickel-hydrogen battery. With inventory analysis, calculation and evaluation of the energy consumption and environmental emissions during the power battery recovery stage were made. The research results are of guiding significance to the production, use and recycling of power batteries

Published 4 papers in important domestic journals and applied for 7 patents.Dawei Qu, deputy director, Internal Combustion Engine Department, School of Automotive Engineering, Jilin University. He received his Ph.D. from the Internal Combustion Engine Department of Jilin University in July 2012. In the same year, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control of Jilin University, and is mainly engaged in research on engine electronic control and particulate emission. |
