Research Progress on the Manufacture and Application of Straw-Based Panel |

Abstract In order to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of wood in China, and improve the utilization ratio and added value of straw, it was an effective way to use straw for producing wood-based panels. On the basis of introducing several common straw-based panels and their characteristics, this paper expounds the development situation of straw-based panels at home and abroad from the perspective of industrial development and technology research. In view of the problems in the manufacture of straw-based panels, the bonding strength, environmental protection performance, production energy consumption, production cost and production efficiency of straw based panels are reviewed from the interface bonding mechanism and modification, adhesive preparation and modification, molding process selection and parameter determination three aspects. Then the application of straw-based panel in furniture, floor, interior decoration and building wall is introduced. At the same time, in view of the shortcomings of the research and extension of the mechanism of preparation and modification of straw-based panel, the suggestions for further research are put forward.
