Abstract With the rapid development of clean energy technologies, perovskite solar cells have demonstrated tremendous application potential in the photovoltaic field due to their advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, and flexibility. By efficiently utilizing solar energy, perovskite solar cells can reduce dependence on fossil fuels and lower carbon emissions. Cesium lead iodide (CsPbI3), an inorganic halide perovskite material, has attracted much attention for its excellent light absorption capability and high power conversion efficiency. However, the environmental sensitivity and phase instability of CsPbI3 severely limit its practical applications. In this study, cystamine dihydrochloride (CDH) was introduced as a functional additive to systematically investigate its regulatory mechanism on the phase stability and optoelectronic performance of CsPbI3 thin films. Experimental results show that the incorporation of CDH significantly suppresses the α→δ phase transition of CsPbI3 films, optimizes the film surface morphology, and enhances its photoluminescence intensity and chemical stability. Furthermore, thermogravimetric analysis reveals that CDH exhibits higher thermal stability below 240 ℃ while maintaining some stability up to 500 ℃. Contact angle measurements indicate that CDH modification significantly improves the surface hydrophobicity of CsPbI3 films (contact angle increases from 58.5° to 64.2°), effectively inhibiting moisture erosion. Concentration gradient optimization experiments show that 5% (mole fraction, similarly hereinafter) is the optimal CDH addition amount, achieving a power conversion efficiency of 15.9% for the corresponding device, which is 12.8% higher than that of the control group without CDH, with simultaneous improvements in open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current density, and fill factor. Based on the above results, this study provides an innovative solution for the long-term reliability of perovskite solar cells and is of great significance for promoting green development in the photovoltaic field.
