Abstract: To enhance the impact resistance of cement-based materials, this work systematically investigated the effects of hybrid incorporation of graphene oxide (GO) and graphene (G) on the dynamic mechanical behavior of cement mortar. Dynamic compression tests were conducted on specimens with seven mix proportions using a split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) with a diameter of 75 mm under impact pressures ranging from 0.1 to 0.42 MPa. Combined with microstructural characterization techniques such as SEM and EDS, the synergistic reinforcement mechanism of GO/G was elucidated. The results indicate that at the optimal proportion of m(GO)∶m(G)=0.064∶0.016 (total dosage of 0.08%)(4∶1), the dynamic compressive strength under an impact pressure of 0.1 MPa reached 68 MPa, representing a 48.48% increase compared to the control group. The dynamic increase factor (DIF) exhibited a monotonically increasing trend with rising impact pressure, reaching 2.35 at 0.42 MPa, which corresponds to a 47.83% improvement relative to the control group. Microscopic analysis reveals that the oxygen-containing functional groups of GO promote the nucleation of hydration products via ionic bonding, while the two-dimensional lamellar structure of G optimizes stress transfer through physical filling effects. The synergistic interaction between the two components forms a "GO-ionic bond-G" three-dimensional network structure, which significantly reduces porosity and achieves an ideal Ca/Si atomic ratio of 1.73. This study demonstrates that the hybrid incorporation of GO and G at a mass ratio of 4∶1 can effectively suppress crack propagation and delay the process of structural failure, thereby providing a theoretical foundation for the development of high-performance impact-resistant cement-based materials.
