Preparation of Fluoride-phosphate Pre-coating on Zirconium Alloy andIts Effect on the Properties of Electroless Plating Coating |

Abstract In order to improve the corrosion resistance of zirconium alloy, an amorphous coating was prepared on the surface of zirconium alloy by electroless plating. In order to improve the poor adhesion between the substrate and the chemical coating, the zirconium alloy was pretreated by pic-king-activation, followed by a fluorine-phosphate chemical conversion process. A fluoride film layer was formed on the surface of the zirconium alloy as the pre-coating, and three different electroless plating coatings were prepared on top of the pre-coating. SEM,EDS and XRD were used to analyze the microstructure and composition of the film layer, the adhesion and the hardness between the zirconium alloy and the electroless pla-ting coating were studied. The results showed that the binding force of Ni-W-P coating was the highest and the critical load was 49.75 N. The hig-hest hardness is Ni-Ce-P coating, up to 505.2HV. Ni-W-P coating have the highest self-corrosion potential of -0.331 96 V.

At present, he is a member of the teaching committee of material forming and control engineering discipline of China Association of Mechanical Industry Education, a member of the welding branch of China Association of Mechanical Engineering, a standing director of Sichuan Corrosion and Protection Society, a vice chairman of Sichuan Physical and Chemical Testing Special Committee, and a vice director of Sichuan Welding Engineering Technology Research Center. In the past five years, he has presided over 10 research projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation, Sichuan Provincial Education Department fund, Enterprise Training Program of CNPC, etc. He has successively won the second and third prizes of excellent teaching achievements in Sichuan Province, and the national advanced personal name of excellent education and scientific research in the 13th five year plan of the ministry of education. He has published more than 70 academic papers in high-level international journals such as Materials Chemistry and Physics, Materials and Design, Materials Science and Engineering A, and international heat treatment annual meeting, international corrosion conference, etc., and 4 national invention patents have been obtained and all of them have been transformed, and 4 teaching materials have been published in Science Press, etc. |
